In 2007, Hollis was named Maryland’s “Small Business Person of the Year” by the SBA.
Want to be a life long learner? Keeping a Learning Journal is a huge differentiator – those people who practice reflective learning are the ones who leap frog over others. Are you taking detailed notes focused on what is important to you and your learning goals?
People Reading is about being here now in this moment observing and listening.
It is having the awareness of how behavior and motivators impact what is meaningful for the other person. People reading is NOT putting someone else in a box and leaving them there. We don’t want to say, “He is always a High Dominate style communicator so I am always going to approach him that way.” Nor do we want to say, “She is always a High Social so I am going to talk only about helping other people when I am with her.” That is putting someone in a box and leaving them there.
